Integrated Aviation Solutions, LLC is a growing engineering company with both DoD and commercial sector experience specializing in airline operations efficiency solutions. Based in Wilmington Delaware, IAS was formed by John Bragger in 2005, and he serves as President and Chief Operating Officer. Robert H. Shepherd serves as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. IAS’ employee group has deep experience as military and civilian aviators, in computer science and engineering, as well as entrepreneurial enterprise, making us uniquely qualified to understand and solve your company’s operational information needs. The Environment
Crewmember technical publications has for many years remained a complicated and costly internal program for passenger and cargo carriers alike. Rising and fluctuating fuel costs are crushing the airline industry. Publication management in terms of added aircraft weight (hence fuel burn), acquisition, reproduction, distribution, currency and record-keeping is expensive in dollars and labor, and despite a well organized program, can still be excessively vulnerable. Web-based and digital programs offer improvement in multiple ways, but information currency continues to be problematic, exposing the company to FAA sanctions and/or fines. Through multiple publications regarding Electronic Flight Bags (EFB), the FAA has overtly thrown its support behind the distribution, carriage and display of digitized, required flight publications.
